Apoile fixes both directly. Messaging is gated behind a mutual like, and every photo is checked by a person before it appears to anyone. Neither is a setting you have to find. They are how the product works.

There is no paid tier. Nothing is behind a subscription, no visibility is sold, and nobody is pushed up the feed for money.

There are no engagement mechanics — no streaks, no daily limits designed to bring you back, no notifications inventing a reason to open the app. The goal is that you meet someone and stop needing it.

There is no algorithm deciding who deserves to see whom. The feed is people near you, most recently active first, and search filters do what you tell them.

Apoile is new. There is no large membership to boast about, and this page is not going to invent one. If you join early you will see a quiet app, and that is simply what a new dating service looks like before word gets round.

What we can promise is that every profile you see belongs to a real person who confirmed an email address and whose photos a human being actually looked at. There are no filler accounts, no imported profiles and no stock faces on this site — not on the marketing pages and not in the app.

Apoile is a website rather than an app-store download. It works in any modern browser and can be added to your phone’s home screen.

Members are in Canada and the United States. Data is stored in Canada.
